Action horses and horsemen are like the heroes in most asian countries and specially in Inda and Pakistan .
Most thrilling and exciting game being played in remote Asia is the tent pegging in which horses and horsemen show their skill at extreme. Horses are generally considered as one of the fastest animal on this earth. They are elegant and graceful. Many games are popular played on horseback in the world. Horse racing is most popular and polo is also being played in most parts of the world. World’s highest polo ground is in Pakistan on the Shandoor pass in Gilgit region of Northern areas of Pakistan. Two teams from two major cities in the area played a final match in Shandoor Pass Polo festival. 

Buzkushi is another furious game being played in central Asia and Afghanistan on horseback. A goat is slaughtered and used as a ball among the team. Any team which snatches the goat from opponent becomes the winner.

Horses are most popular pet in most countries of the Asia. Many rich and poor families still use horses as a ride. Tent pegging is the most popular sports among the villagers and rich Sardars and feudal of the countries like Pakistan. 

 

Tent Pegging And Horse Racing In Asia

In the months of summer when farmers are free of their field work, there are lot of village fares celebrated in different parts of Asia specially in the villages of Pakistan and India. Thousands of spectators take part in these festivals where horse races and tent pegging in the most important game.

Riders wear colorful uniforms and each team have a specific color. They have lances in their hand and parade proudly in the ground with elegance and grace in the ground. Encouraging songs are being played on the loud speakers and there is also a dance on the beat of the drum. 

Horse riders make their horse run at full speed and try to pull the peg. People just clap aloud when a rider is successful. There are single riders and a team event. In team events which is popularly known as section, four riders run in parallel and pull out the peg simultaneously.
