Using High ISO for some creative effect

In analogue era of photography, print films have ISO( International Slandered Organization)  number. That number tells the sensitivity of the film to the light and also the coating depth on it. In digital era of photography, same is the case with camera sensor. Each DSLR camera have a specific range of ISO which is mostly from 100 to 3200. This property of the sensor tells us various things about the sensor and it is very important to understand the speed of the film or sensor in advance levels of photography.
Lower Value Of ISO Always Gives Saturated and Punchy Colors

As described earlier the most important factor indicated by the films speed is its sensitivity to light. Advance cameras now have ISO range from 50 to 6400. The smaller the ISO, the less sensitive censor will be. So more light and and more exposure time is required. S slow ISO must be used in bright light and in conditions with good light or one should use tripod to stop shaking in the final images. High ISO value is used in reverse and sensor become more sensitive to light. So in low light conditions hi ISO value works. There is a special button on every DSLR and also one can change it from the main menu. Taking pictures in outdoor at dusk and dawn or dimly lit rooms is only possible at hi ISO.
The negative point of pushing ISO upwards is that it adversely effect the image quality and make it highly grainy or noisy. Low ISO results in more punchy and bright colors with better sharpness. For night shot one should use 400 to 600 ISO as it would record details of the stars in a better way.

Other wise as a rule use lowest ISO possible in the prevailing light conditions.
