Landscape Photography In The Evening And Morning  

 Last week we have a plane to visit river side for a landscape photography assignment. I was accompanied with one of my dearest friend Dr. Javed who is himself a good landscape photographer. It was a pleasant and November evening and light was awesome. We just want to have some marvelous pictures of the sunset and sunrise in the morning. We decided to spend a night at the river and arranged a tent for this purpose. Other preparations like the warm clothes and stove for cooking was also ready. We prepared some food at home to have a dinner and breakfast. We were at the river Ravi at Mari Pattan area Pakistan at about four o clock. Like starts getting golden tinge and temperature of light turns to be perfect for the sensor of the camera. We were here for landscape photography and environment was perfect for some excellent landscape pictures. Nature lover need not much than the good light. We mounted our cameras on the tripods, check our cards, insert these in the cameras and starts shooting in some of the best situation for a landscape photographer.    

 

Beauty Of landscape

From predawn to first light and in the the golden hours of both morning and evening light becomes  ideal for landscape photography. Each minute gives some new tones and shades of colors. Shadows get more drawn out and 3d impact gives the pictures a life.

Landscape Photography At A Riverside

 Some clouds were present on the sky and these clouds were adding some drama in the sky which is an essential element for a landscape picture.There were some reed plants with with a big bloom of whit flowers. These plants looks amazing in the back lit condition and giving my pictures a glow which definitely would attract the viewers.

 

Shooting In The Golden Hour 

As the sun started setting the light turned yellow and red. Clouds got a crimson and golden tinge and started glowing. That was the perfect time for shooting some stunning landscape pictures. River Ravi have a receding water in the winter months and we had our camp at a temporary lake formed near the river in the season of flood. water was cool and calm and got the colors of light as it was transparent. 

A small boat appears in the seen and added a strong element in the landscape photography.
It was a wonderful experience and a great gift for a landscape photographer. In the last minutes the sun turns into a large golden disc.  It was the peak time for a nature photographer and a pure delight to watch. We continue shooting till the last glimpses of the sun. Then there was a time for long exposure photography. Landscape photography with long exposures is a popular item now in commercial market of photography too. It gives a landscape picture some mystic touch with smooth tones and texture.

Landscape Photography At Sunrise  

Night was pleasant and a cool bit. We slept with comfort and wake up well before the sunrise. We prepared for the morning photography by setting our tripods at proper place and taking our positions there. Sun rose with a majestic beauty in the mist and illuminated the whole scene. Every thing from straw to trees bathed in the golden light. We have a lot of shooting and pictures in our bag. The area became heaven for landscape photography. 

Landscape Photography Just Before The Sunrise

We also take some shots just before the sunrise when the morning hues appeared on the horizon. This time is best for long exposure landscape photography.
